Literary Study Guides And Full Book Quizzes
In my opinion studying literature is important because it improves reading skills. By answering questions and giving opinions, the reader then develops their writing and spelling skills. Writing, spelling, and reading go hand in hand (most avid readers are the best writers and spellers). Book quizzes after reading the book help reinforce comprehension. I'm not going to add all of the study guides just the ones we will be working on.
The Literature Guides include pre-reading activities, journaling as the student reads, vocabulary, discussion questions for comprehension and critical thinking, and writing assignment suggestions.
